South Westmeath Hospice funds Carer service for patients and families

The South Westmeath Hospice this week launched its Carer service for the patients and families using the hospice facilities. This will provide families with the services of the Carers Association free of charge.

Speaking about the launch, Dr. Tony Lowry Chairman of the South Westmeath Hospice, said “The Carers Association is an invaluable organisation which provides people with emotional and practical supports. The committee is delighted to extend these wonderful services to the patients and families of the South Westmeath Hospice. It is our goal to provide as much physical and practical support as we can and I hope this extra service will go a long way to achieving that”.
